Browning has released the HTR49 Hunter Series Extra Wide Gun Safe for the summer of 2022. It has many great features available all at an affordable price. Since it is the extra-wide version at 42.00", it can hold up to 39 long guns + 10 on the door. It also has some room at the top of the safe for adjustable shelves to store other items, valuables, and important paperwork.
Browning had the HTR49 Hunter Series Extra Wide Gun Safe tested with an 80 minute fire rating at outside temperatures up to 1550 degrees Fahrenheit. Plus it has many great security features including a 12-gauge steel body, 1-1/4" formed door, 9 - 1" bolts (6 are active and 3 deadbolts), and 3-way boltwork. The outside is protected by a UL rated electronic lock where you can program your own custom combination.
Browning had the HTR49 Hunter Series Extra Wide Gun Safe painted with a charcoal textured finish with a Hunter graphic on the bottom of the door. The handle is a 3-spoke black chrome handle to allow for easy opening and closing. Also included is a full DPX Storage System with Quick Access DPX Barrel Rack and pistol pouches on the door. This helps with organization and allows you to put the items you want quickly on the door. The other items you don't use as often can be stored inside the safe when needed. Plus, it's 100% made in the USA at Browning's plant in Provo, Utah.
