Although the cooling units are rated for various size rooms, the thermal load may require a larger sized cooling unit. Thermal load may be affected by glass in the cellar, room positioning or other factors. Please let a Rosehill Wine Cellar rep make some suggestions for you if needed.
CellarPro's 1800XTSx-EC wine cooling units (1/5 Ton Nominal) were designed for outdoor installations and engineered to provide maximum cooling performance for small wine cellars up to 400 cubic feet.* Now with an energy-efficient EC fan on the cold side.
*Assuming R19 insulation throughout the cellar, 55F inside the cellar and 85F outside the cellar.
The cooling unit plugs into a standard wall outlet. The components of the cooling unit draw 3 amps, and the electric outlet on the side of the cooling unit also is rated for 3 amps. We recommend using a surge protector rated at 15 amps or more.
