The name Enigma means \"mystery\" and refers to the floating shades that appear to float when viewed from a distance. In 2005, the Enigma 825 was introduced as a larger version of the Enigma 425, and in 2007, the Enigma 545 was added as another extension to the series. Both of these models are based on the same design idea of floating shades held by ultra-thin wires, maintaining the light and transparent look. The design of all three lamps harmonizes with Louis Poulsen's product philosophy, combining Japanese elegance with Scandinavian simplicity. In 2018, the original aluminum version of the lamps was supplemented with a new black version.
