Cleaning the Wood Surface
Wipe the aged pine wood with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Avoid soaking the wood to prevent moisture damage.
Maintaining the Metal Rail
Clean the distressed corrugated metal rail with a dry cloth to remove dust. For any grime, use a damp cloth soaked in white vinegar to wipe the rail.
Lubricating the Rollers
If the door becomes noisy or difficult to slide, apply a small amount of olive oil to the rollers to reduce friction.
Adjusting the Rail
If the door does not stay open or closed, it may be necessary to relevel the rail. Remove the door, loosen the rail fasteners, adjust the rail, and then tighten all fasteners and floor guides before remounting the door.
